Oat Made Poke Bowl

Indulge in the exquisite fusion of flavours with our Oat Made Poke Bowl; featuring succulent salmon, carrots, cucumber and avocado – to name a few. Crafted with care, our poke bowl brings a delightful twist by incorporating wholesome oats.

Ingredients

THE PROTEIN

1 fillet of salmon (or other protein of choice – could use tofu/chicken, etc)

1 tbsp of sweet chilli sauce

1 tbsp of ketchup

1 tsp of vinegar

2 tbsp of soy sauce

Salt and pepper

1 tsp of sriracha

 

THE BOWL

1/2 – 1 Oat Made pouch

1/4 cucumber

Carrot, peeled then julienned

Edamame

Avocado

Sesame seeds

Optional: kimchi

 

TO DRESS (makes extra)

2 tbsp sesame oil

4 tbsp soy sauce

Juice of 1/2 lime

1 tsp honey

Salt and pepper

Method

  • Add all the ingredients for the marinade to a bowl, mixing well.
  • Prep your protein – we cut the skin off our salmon, then cut it into bitesize pieces. Add this to your marinade & set aside.
  • Next, make your dressing – add all the ingredients to a bowl or jug, mixing well, then adjust to taste.
  • When ready to serve, prep all the veg for the bowl – dice your cucumber, peel your carrot, then cut into thin strips, and dice your avocado.
  • Rip your Oat Made pouch open 2cm along the top, then microwave on full power for around one minute.
  • Add as much of the oats to your serving bowl as you’d like, then top with all of your prepped veg & pour over some of your dressing. Set aside & cook your protein.
  • Add some oil to a frying pan on medium heat, then add your marinated protein, allowing to fry on each side for a minute or 2. Cook until you’re happy with it, then pour in any remaining marinade & allow it to caramelise in the pan for a minute or two.
  • Top your bowl with your protein, a squeeze of lime juice, and some toasted sesame seeds, the, serve.
