Oat Flour Flatbreads

These flavourful flatbreads, made with wholesome Mornflake Jumbo Scottish Oats, are the perfect canvas for a delicious morning meal.

Serves 4-6 flatbreads

Ingredients

1 cup Mornflake Jumbo Scottish Oats, soaked

1 egg

Pinch of salt

Method

  • Add your Mornflake Jumbo Scottish Oats to a bowl, then cover with water about 1/2cm over the oats. Set aside for 30 mins.
  • When ready to serve, blend your oats with an egg & a sprinkle of salt to give you a smooth batter.
  • Grease a non-stick frying pan on medium heat, then pour your batter in, spreading it out by tilting the pan, until it covers the base.
  • Flip once the top side is bubbling and has turned matte, frying on both sides until they’ve nicely browned.
