This super green smoothie is a balanced breakfast in one glass. The blend of spinach, avocado and banana will boost your daily intake of fruit and veg before you’ve even left the house, while pumpkin seeds and almond butter give an added nutritional boost.
30g Mornflake Organic Superfast Oats
300ml unsweetened almond milk
10g pumpkin seeds, plus extra for top
½ avocado
1 heaped tsp. almond butter
1 small banana
35g spinach
Add the pumpkin seeds, oats and almond milk to the blender cup and leave to soak for 10-15 minutes. This will make them easier to blend and create a smoother texture.
Add the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy.
Pour into your glass and sprinkle with pumpkin seeds.
