We’ve swapped Rice Krispies for Oatmeal and Jumbo Oats to make these perfect little chocolate nests. They’re easy and fun to make with the children and just in time for Easter.
50g Mornflake Medium Oatmeal
50g Mornflake Jumbo Oats
150g milk chocolate, melted
20g butter, melted
1 packet of mini eggs
You will need 24 petit four paper cases. Lay these out onto a large plate.
Melt the chocolate and butter together, in a large bowl, either in a microwave or over a bain-marie. Tip the oatmeal and jumbo oats into the melted chocolate and butter then mix together. Using a teaspoon, spoon the mixture into each petit four case, firming the mixture down slightly and finish by pressing a mini egg into the top.
Store in an airtight container and eat within 4 days.
