Blackberry season means only one thing – time to stain our fingers purple forever by picking loads. We can think of few better things to do with a bumper haul that blending them up with some of our favourite ingredients to create a fabulous handpicked and handmade breakfast.
200g blackberries
160ml almond milk
100g plain soy yoghurt
60ml unsweetened apple sauce
2 tbsp Mornflake Organic Porridge Oats
1 tbsp almond butter
½ tsp cinnamon
Toppings (optional)
A couple of fresh blackberries
A sprinkle of granola
Simply place all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
Pour the smoothie into 1 large glass (or between 2 small) and serve with fresh blackberries and a sprinkle of granola.
