Baked Camembert with Oat Bran Crackers

Ingredients

THE OAT BRAN CRACKERS

110g Mornflake Beta3 Oat Bran 

60ml boiling water

1 tbsp olive oil

Pinch of salt

THE CAMEMBERT

1 camembert cheese

Honey to top

Method

  • First, make your Oat Bran crisp – preheat your oven to 170°C.
  • To a bowl, add all your ingredients, mixing well, then flatten out onto a lined baking tray, spreading to the thickness of a £2 coin.
  • Prick the top with a fork, then top with a mixture of seeds if you’d like, then bake for 30 minutes, or until your crisp has turned golden brown, and is crisp to the touch. Leave to cool.
  • Whilst your crisp bakes, prep and bake your camembert – use a knife to score a criss-cross pattern on the top, then bake in the same oven for 25-30 minutes.
  • Once your oat bran cracker has crisped up, break and serve on a board with your Camembert, drizzled in honey.
