Think crumble meets flapjack and you’ve got this seriously comforting, oaty dessert. Cinnamon spiced apple and plum filling is topped with a chewy topping to make this easy autumn pudding.
Crumble topping
200g Mornflake Stoneground Oatmeal Medium
100g Mornflake Whole Jumbo Oats
1 tsp ground cinnamon
40ml grade A maple syrup
50g dairy-free butter
Crumble filling
400g plums
4 medium sized apples
1 tsp ground cinnamon
3 tbsp grade A maple syrup
Pre-heat the oven to 180°C.
Remove the stone from the plums then cut into quarters and chop the apples into rough slices. Add all the fruit to a saucepan with the cinnamon and maple syrup. Cook over a medium heat for 10-15 minutes until the fruit starts to soften.
To make the crumble topping, add all the ingredients into a large bowl and use your fingers to lightly rub the butter into the oatmeal and jumbo oats.
Spoon all the fruit into a 20cm round ovenproof dish.
Scatter the crumble topping over the fruit. Place in the middle of the oven for 20 minutes or until the fruit is hot and the topping is golden brown.
