Molten Reese’s Baked Oats is a delicious dish that features a warm, gooey centre, surrounded by a comforting baked Oatmeal base and melted Reese’s peanut butter chips.
This dish combines the classic flavours of chocolate and peanut butter, making it a delightful treat for those who enjoy a sweet and savoury combination.
THE BAKED OATS
2 heaped tbsp Mornflake Oatmeal Fine
1 heaped tbsp Mornflake Fibreful Oatbran
1 tbsp coconut sugar/equivalent sweetener
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp unflavoured whey protein powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
150ml liquid
THE FILLING
1 tbsp cream cheese
2 tbsp milk
1 tbsp
1 tsp maple syrup/other sweetener of choice
TO TOP
Chocolate chips or peanut butter cups
Pinch of Maldon Salt
Preheat your oven to 170°C.
Mix all of your dry ingredients in a bowl, then mix in your milk or water bit by bit until you have a thick cake batter.
For the filling, mix your cream cheese, peanut butter and sweetener in a separate bowl, then add 1 tbsp of milk at a time.
Add 3/4 of the baked oats batter to a ramekin or your oven-safe bowl, then add your cream cheese mixture to the centre.
Add the remaining batter to the top, making sure all of the cream cheese mixture is covered.
Top with whichever toppings you’d like, then bake for 15 minutes, turning around in the oven every 5 minutes so it bakes evenly.
Leave to rest for a minute or 2, then top with a pinch of Maldon Salt.
