With just a few ingredients overnight oats are quick to prepare and a brilliant option for breakfast. With hearty oats, seasonally warming spice, crisp apples, pecans and sunflower seeds – this is a nutritious start to your day.
For overnight oats
50g Mornflake Creamy Superfast Oats
160ml almond milk
½ tsp. ground cinnamon
1 small apple, grated
1 tsp. sunflower seeds
6 pecans, finely chopped
1 heaped tsp. almond butter
For the toppings
1 small apple, chopped
1 tsp. almond butter
4 pecans, roughly chopped
1-2 tsp. almond butter
To prepare the overnight oats, add the oats, ground cinnamon, grated apple, sunflower seeds, chopped pecans and almond butter to a Kilner Breakfast Jar. Pour over the almond milk and stir all the ingredients together. Screw the lid onto the jar and pop in the fridge overnight.
In the morning remove the overnight oats from the fridge. Give them a good stir. Add the chopped apple, pecans and drizzle over the almond butter.
