Adding maple syrup, nuts, cinnamon, cardamom, orange and lemon zest give these chunky oats all the fragrant, sweet flavours of baklava. Absolutely delicious and totally vegan, we guarantee you’ll love this recipe, created specially for our Kilner® competition by @nadiashealthykitchen.

Ingredients

80g Mornflake Gluten Free Jumbo Oats
270ml milk of choice
2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
2 tbsp almond butter
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
1 tsp orange zest
1 tsp lemon zest
A few drops of rose water
Toppings – lightly toasted pistachios and walnuts, chopped

Shop the ingredients

Method

Mix everything together (apart from the nuts) in a Kilner® jar, cover and leave to chill in the fridge overnight. Top with the chopped toasted nuts in the morning and enjoy!
